FC-Frauen: Flutlicht-Fight gegen Werder

Next Monday, November 18, 2024, 6 p.m., the FC women will play their next home game at the Franz Kremer Stadium. Their opponents will be SV Werder Bremen. An encounter that brought 30,123 fans together at the RheinEnergieSTADION last season. The FC women won 2:1 that day in front of an impressive crowd. A good omen?

The opponent

SV Werder Bremen come to the Franz Kremer Stadium with a strong tailwind. The Bremen side have won each of their last three matches 1:0, including one against top club Eintracht Frankfurt. Defensively stable and always good for a goal up front. Coach Thomas Horsch's team is on a roll - but the FC women would like to put a stop to it on Monday.

The atmosphere

2,600 fans came to the last home game against Leverkusen to support the FC women. After a great fight, the FC women lost unhappily with 1:2, which the FC women had lacked recently in Frankfurt. That's why coach Daniel Weber's team is particularly challenged against Werder and is looking forward to the support from the stands.

Arrival, shuttle service and stadium opening

The main and forest parking lots at the Geißbockheim will be closed on Monday due to the TV production for the match. We kindly ask you to arrive by bicycle or public transportation. The free shuttle service to the game on Monday will not depart from the REWE parking lot in Hürth as usual, but from parking lot S5 of the RheinEnergieSTADION. From there, the free shuttle service to the Franz Kremer Stadium and for the return journey will be offered between 4 pm and 9 pm. The stadium opens at 4.30 pm.

As usual, the Pänzclub of 1. FC Köln will be there with its event modules and the Pänzclub-Hennes for children.
