Ten friends, three years, seven parties: David Dietl's intense and turbulent ensemble comedy FESTE & FREUNDE follows a group of friends through the highs and lows of life.

When Ellen (Laura Tonke) attends her best friends' 2019 New Year's Eve party, she is hiding a secret: she is having an affair with Sebastian (Ronald Zehrfeld), whom she thinks is the love of her life. But he is married to Eva (Antje Traue) and naturally doesn't want to let on. There is a crackling between Rolf (Nicholas Ofczarek) and Dina (Pegah Ferydoni). There is friction between Mareike (Annette Frier) and Adam (Trystan Pütter). Maya (Katia Fellin) wants children, Natalie (Jasmin Shakeri) can't make up her mind. Then Max (Henning Flüsloh) turns up - he would love Ellen - if only she would let him. The years pass and parties are celebrated as they fall. They love, argue, laugh and get married, children are born, some find each other, others break up. And then a stroke of fate shakes everything up and reminds us: life must be lived intensely, with the best friends and preferably in every single moment!!!
