Macedonian-born guitarist/composer Filip Dinev is a true gem on the European jazz scene. The ear-catching melodies, the continuous, organic musical flow, minimalism and virtuosity at the same time, together with Dinev's personal compositional touch is an essential part of the puzzle of why his music stands out in the contemporary jazz scene. You can hear the passion for Balkan music, classical counterpoint and jazz with a strong presence of blues in every composition. Like a "novel", his trio likes to tell stories, dance around the melodies and is not afraid to fly in the present moment.

Dinev has performed his music internationally in cities such as Paris, Budapest, Berlin, Hamburg, Leipzig, Tallinn, Skopje.
