The world is dying, salvation seems impossible. A last desperate space mission lasting years is supposed to avert the seemingly inevitable end after all. On board are not only the best scientists, but also the family man Cooper, whose participation is essential and who had to leave his ten-year-old daughter behind. The plan is to use wormholes to cover the enormous distance in time. But this is where the problems begin.
