ANIMATION Can a robot overcome its programming? The long-awaited screen adaptation of Peter Brown's bestseller is a gripping adventure and a touching film about an unconventional family. Rozzum 7134 - "Roz" for short, voiced by Judith Rakers, was actually developed as a support for a futuristic, urban world. But now she is stranded on a desert island. With difficulty, she builds up relationships with the initially suspicious animals and learns to adapt to the unfamiliar, harsh environment. When she accidentally becomes the guardian of an orphaned gosling, it soon becomes clear that they can only survive in the wilderness together. But then Roz's past catches up with her.

CHRIS SANDERS (*1962 in the USA) is an animator, author and actor and is best known for inventing the characters in Lilo & Stitch (2002).
