"Tracks" is an Australian adventure film from 2013 directed by John Curran. The film is based on the true story of Robyn Davidson, who undertook a 2,700-kilometre journey through the Australian desert alone with four camels and her dog in the 1970s.

The main character, played by Mia Wasikowska, decides to leave the modern world behind and make the lonely and dangerous journey from Alice Springs to the Indian Ocean. During her journey, she crosses breathtaking landscapes and encounters various challenges, both physical and emotional.

The film "Tracks" explores themes of self-discovery, the relationship between man and nature, and the challenges associated with realizing unconventional dreams and adventures. It is an impressive story about perseverance, determination and the search for personal freedom.

The two Höchberg residents Ingo Petzke, film professor, and Dirk Baierlipp, designer & photographer (DBDB) and film enthusiast, have initiated the films in the Kulturscheune and will lead through the evening.
