Carla Nowak , a young sports and math teacher, takes up her first post at a grammar school. Carla's idealism makes her stand out among her new colleagues. However, a series of unsolved thefts has a negative impact on the mood of the staff. When a Turkish pupil is suspected and brought before the strict principal under undignified circumstances, Carla decides to get to the bottom of the matter.
