The captivating story of FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL takes us into the life of a young woman in Pittsburgh. Alex Owens works in a steel mill by day and as a dancer in a bar by night. But her biggest dream is actually to become a recognized professional dancer. First she falls in love with her boss Nick Hurley, then her dream could come true with an audition at the prestigious academy. But a shadow soon falls over her happiness and Alex has to make a decision: How much is she willing to give up for her dream? A strong woman at the center of the story, who works hard for her dream and dances and lives her very own style.
