"Donau" - album presentation

With the Danube project, Munich composer and pianist Florian Christl takes his audience on a wonderful musical journey along the Bavarian river. Of course, this is not about an onomatopoeic depiction of the diverse riverside landscape. Rather, the focus is on the flow of the water itself. An attempt to not simply let the river and its history(ies) pass by, but to become a part of it - from the observer on the outside to the discoverer on the inside. Accompanied by his ensemble, Christl presents a selection of his best works alongside this exciting emotional river journey.
