Dance piece by Felix Berner

Groups, movements or trends - almost everyone is a follower, whether consciously or not. But why do we follow people, trends, fashion or simply the beat of the music? Why do we imitate and copy what inspires and excites us? Is it an attempt to define ourselves by belonging and gain orientation? And at what point does a collective movement actually become peer pressure?

Felix Berner's dance is always sincere, people-oriented and gives the participants many opportunities to contribute themselves. Together with the choreographer, six dancers from tanzmainz explore their own experiences around the topic of following in real and digital life. Follow me! interweaves dance and film sequences to create a dense stage experience about a topic that no one can escape.
