From egg carton to Benin bronze - how are products made?

Together with the Hamburg artist Anna Mieves, we will look at exhibition objects from the
MARKK and go in search of traces of various manufacturing processes.
You can make your own first works using the process of casting and
cast and impression. We will produce negative molds from clay, which we will fill with plaster and
try out the reversal of positive/negative, form and counter-form.
New objects from the collection will be examined at each session. Your own
work can be continued and more complex processes can be tried out. Previous knowledge
is not required.
It is possible to join the course on any day.

Please bring clothes that can get dirty.

For children and young people aged 12 and over, under 12s must be accompanied.
