Franziska Stünkel - Coexist
For fifteen years, the internationally awarded photographer and film director has been traveling through Asia, Africa, Europe, America and Australia in search of natural reflections on shop window glass for her photographic series "Coexist".
She explores the streets of urban spaces for miles with her Leica. Her condensed reflections tell of the global coexistence of human life.
Sabine Wild - Fabric
The Berlin photographer's photographic starting point is architectural details from urban landscapes. The artist develops her prints further using a weaving technique in which she interweaves two identical motifs. This technique creates multifaceted unique pieces with a three-dimensional structure.
Florian W. Müller - Interference
"I'm a big fan of the principle of serendipity, i.e. finding something that you weren't looking for. To do this, you have to constantly have your antennae on reception and learn to see the unusual even in the ordinary. When it comes to images, I'm a fan of dark tones and dark pictures. But a lot of things are often created subconsciously,"
says the award-winning Cologne photographer. His multiple exposures tread a fine line between representation and abstraction.
Marcus Schwier - summer and winter
In his series, the Düsseldorf photographer explores the question of how people use inner-city green spaces as temporary homes. In order to photograph from above, he uses a high tripod made for his purposes.
Nothing is arranged or predetermined. The results are a kind of social study. Schwier's photographs are excellent contemporary testimonies to urban life on the Rhine.
