FOUNTAINHEAD – Begegnung Indien und Europa

Ensemble Fountainhead brings together musical traditions that have developed over centuries, often in isolation from one another. Their aim is to promote a deeper understanding of the "other" while honoring and preserving cultural identities. In their concerts, they celebrate the rich heritage of Indian and European music and reinterpret it through new, creative arrangements for a contemporary audience.
The musicians of Fountainhead bring together their unique instruments and soundscapes: Hindol Deb - sitar, Katharina Hoffmann - cello, Ronas Sheikhmous - duduk, ney and Simon Tressin - percussion.
Experience an extraordinary concert in which musical boundaries are overcome and traditions meet in a harmonious dialog.

Discounts are available for pupils, students, severely disabled persons and their accompanying persons and Cologne Pass holders with ID. Young people who turn 18 in 2024 (year of birth 2006) receive Free admission to paid events with the Kulturpass, within the limits of the available budget (for more information, see www.kulturpass.de/jugendliche).
