In the organizer's words:

Richard Whilds, répétiteur at the Bayerische Staatsoper, has already created numerous compositions and arrangements for musical theater. In the 2021/22 season, he was responsible for the composition of Der Mondbär, a production for children aged 4 and up. With the music theater Frank and Bert, the next production for young audiences now follows. He created the concept and libretto, based on the picture book by Chris Naylor-Ballesteros, together with the young director Friederike Blum - director at the Bayerische Staatsoper since the 2019/20 season - and Laura Schmidt, dramaturge at the Bayerische Staatsoper.
