"BÄCHLE MEETS PICNIC"

Picnicking by and in the Bächle with a box full of regional specialties? Only in Freiburg!

FREIBURGerLEBEN is once again organizing the popular Freiburg Bächle picnic this year. There are three dates.
Then it's time to find a cozy spot along the brooks as a couple, with family or friends, chill out and enjoy.

The picnic basket in the shape of a Ganter beer crate, which doubles as a small table, is filled to the brim with delicious regional specialties from Weckle to walnut cake. Various spreads, pastes and tapenades from savory to sweet are also available.

Vegetarians and meat lovers alike will get their money's worth. Refreshments are provided by Baden wine, beer and non-alcoholic shandy from local producers as well as lemonade. Crockery and cutlery - biodegradable, of course - are also included in the basket.

The packed picnic basket for two adults (€42), families (€48) or students/trainees (€38) can be selected and booked online in advance on the Freiburgerleben website(https://freiburgerleben.de/touren/baechlepicknick/) and collected on the day of the event from 4 p.m. in the city center for a deposit of €20. However, you can also spontaneously drop by one of the two pick-up points on the day of the event and put together your own basket depending on availability. The collection points are on the premises of the former Grünhof (Rotteckring 14) or at Bettenhaus Stiegeler (Gerberau 34-36) on Augustinerplatz.
