Where the wisdom of world history becomes entangled in wild contradictions on a lavishly laid table, where the means of painting are used merely to generate images of expectation and leave them to the audience's imagination, and where willpower, meaning, enthusiasm and potency can simply be tapped and consumed from brightly colored bottles, enthusiasm and potency from brightly colored bottles, you are right in the middle of the WORLD FULL OF POSSIBILITIES by Leipzig conceptual artist Frenzy Höhne, who knows how to develop significant images of our contemporary society from everyday objects in a thoroughly humorous, sensitive and very apt way. Her ambiguous works and humorous, sometimes ironically connoted set pieces of our everyday life create intelligent entanglements of the world of individual striving that surrounds us and the never-ending self-optimization of our time. Frenzy Höhne's works are pointed, enigmatic and remarkably direct. In addition to their technical brilliance, they have a distinctly integrative character and unfold anew in each production.

Frenzy Höhne (*1975 Dresden) studied philosophy and education at the Leibniz University of Hanover, fine arts at the University of Fine Arts - HfbK Hamburg and was a master student at the Academy of Visual Arts - HGB Leipzig, where she currently lives and works. Frenzy Höhne's work was awarded the Leo Breuer Prize by the LVR LandesMuseum Bonn in 2024 and presented in an extensive solo exhibition at the gkg - Gesellschaft für Kunst und Gestaltung in Bonn. www.frenzy-hoehne.de
