With his baritone voice, Fridayy brought R&B and gospel influences into the world of some rap artists, according to American Songwriter Magazine. The Haitian-American singer, who became widely known for his contributions to Lil Baby's track "Forever" and DJ Khaled's song "God Did", has almost 30 features to his name. Both songs landed in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, while "God Did" also received three Grammy nominations. Building on this success, Fridayy also entered the Billboard Hot 100 in 2023 with his hit single "When It Comes To You" and received a platinum award from the RIAA. Following the recent release of his second album "Some Days I'm Good, Some Days I'm Not", which reached number 51 on the Billboard 200, Fridayy will also be coming to Germany in early fall 2025 on his Some Days I'm Good, Some Days I'm Not World Tour. On September 21, 2025, the singer will present his brand new album at the E-Werk in Cologne as part of his world tour.

Francis Leblanc recognized his talent for singing in the church choir as a child. Encouraged by his father, he also began to learn the piano, guitar, drums, trumpet and bass. At 14, he began to take music seriously after his cousin introduced him to the world of music production. Inspired by The Weeknd and PartyNextDoor, his stage name Fridayy was born, under which he first gained widespread attention as the songwriter and producer of Chris Brown's 'Breezy' opener track 'Till The Wheels Fall Off'. In October 2022, he debuted as an artist with his song "Don't Give Up On Me", which served as the lead single from his "Lost In Melody" EP (2022). "Don't Give It Away" feat. Chris Brown followed in June 2023 as the first song from his upcoming debut album, after which "When It Comes To You" became his most successful single release to date in July. In August, the album "Fridayy" was released via Def Jam, where he signed a record deal at the end of 2022. In 2024, Fridayy supported Buju Banton on his The Overcomer Tour and hinted at the upcoming release of his second album with the tracks "Without You", "Baddest In The Room" and "Back To You", which was released on February 28, 2025. With features from Kehlani, Chris Brown, Joé Dwet Filé, Meek Mill and more, the 21 tracks on "Some Days I'm Good, Some Days I'm Not" explore spheres of R&B, pop and rap. The double album reveals plenty of feel-good tracks as well as a thought-provoking and emotionally charged second side.
