In the organizer's words:

FRIEDRICH - is a figure shaped by love and the torments of life, who seeks to find healing through a new narrative. The newcomer from Stuttgart is playing a unique, intimate release concert at Werkstatthaus to mark the release of his debut EP "Lieben und Zerstören".

His music moves between screeching guitars, atmospheric soundscapes and driving beats. Emotional lyrics lie on top like a heavy down blanket - overwhelming and oppressive at the same time.

FRIEDRICH's journey began in the Swabian province in 2021, when Wilko Gulden started producing demos without any musical training. Inspired by artists such as Aphex Twin and Brian Eno, ambient sounds merged with Gulden's ideas and poems. In 2022, he recorded the first demo for "Mein Herz" with producer Dennis Borger, which laid the foundation for the FRIEDRICH signature.

At the end of the production, when everything became real, Gulden explained: "It's all so tragic." Borger replied, "Yes, and that's a good thing."
