After the solo debut "Keine Termine" (2021), Fritz Ernst announces her second album after the end of Schnipo Schranke with "Jo-Jo". Once again, all songs were produced together with Ted Gaier from Die Goldenen Zitronen and Danika Arndt is once again responsible for the fantastic artwork. ZEIT saw the solo debut "Keine Termine" as a work in which the "do-it-yourself principle is no longer self-empowerment, but a prescribed way of life under neoliberalism." Der Spiegel heard a melancholy debut in the middle of the "post-pandemic war-is-over party atmosphere". While the first album meandered somewhere between depression pop and pop depression, "Jo-Jo" is more lighthearted with cheerfully playful squeaky synths and the best NDW instrumentation, but no less abysmal.
