Author Henrike Wilson reads from her book "Felix and the Monster"

Most children know what it's like to be scared, anxious and yet brave, and so does little Felix from Henrike Wilson's new book "Felix and the Monster".

Felix could actually be happy with himself and the world if it weren't for his fear. He often has the feeling that something scary might be lurking somewhere, he is easily frightened and worries about what the other children might think of him. One day, a huge rage rises up inside him - at himself and his damned fear. It is released in a wild scribble on a piece of paper. A monster is created, a super monster!

Recommended for families with children aged 4 and over.

About the author

Henrike Wilson, born in Cologne in 1961, studied graphic design and painting there and in the USA. She now lives and works as a freelance illustrator in Berlin. Her picture books have been translated into numerous languages.
