Open family program: Illustrating and designing with Nini Alaska

November 16, 2024, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the
Fröbel book workshop in the Elbe shopping center (2nd floor, next to Saturn)

Painting, drawing, gluing, snipping and inventing stories! Together with Hamburg illustrator and children's book author Nini Alaska, imaginative water creatures are created in the Fröbel book workshop, which may swim in the Elbe, North Sea or Baltic Sea. Visitors young and old will find inspiration in Alaska's books "Haibär Hicks", "Haiferien" or "Linas Leuchtturm" (author: Jonathan Stock) or in the almost 1000 books in the book workshop library.

Creative materials are available for anyone interested. You don't need to bring anything with you. Recommended for families with children aged 3 and over. Free admission.

About the author and illustrator

Nini Alaska is a qualified teacher, music therapist, DJane and, last but not least, a sensitive and imaginative illustrator and children's book author. Her lovable, detailed and modern picture worlds reflect her great empathy for children's longings and dreams. A leitmotif of her books is the sea and the coast - no coincidence: the passionate boatwoman has found her adopted homes in Hamburg and Sweden.
