Where do emotions run just as high as in soccer? At the opera, of course! A game lasts 90 minutes: What applies to a soccer match has always applied to the musical theater productions at the Opernloft. The unconventional opera stage directly on the Elbe combines a love of opera with modern productions that reflect the reality of our lives today - it goes without saying that major sporting events are also part of this! Now, inspired by the European Championships and the unshakeable love of soccer in the country, the first official soccer opera. Yes, opera and soccer certainly have things in common: Here and there, people love, argue, wrestle and sing; with the soccer opera, the Opernloft is staging a unique fusion of fan chants, soccer songs and sporty, pompous opera arias.
