The first half of the 20th century was characterized by industrialization - social upheaval and urban progress shaped this period. The guided tour provides an insight into how art also changed in the face of industrial change. Using the example of our new acquisition by Conrad Felixmüller, we will show how industrial development, urban change and personal destinies affected art and artists. It explains how the use of new themes and motifs enables new impressions to be processed and new paths to be sought.
