Narrative collage by & with Gaby dos Santos and actress Marion Niederländer from the series "Nicht immer Simpl" about the legendary Munich landlady, contemporary witness and actress.

Toni Netzle's roles as a celebrity landlady, contemporary witness and actress were inextricably linked to the "Alter Simpl", even though she had already bid farewell to her famous historic restaurant in Munich's Türkenstraße 30 years ago. Her artistic companion and friend of recent years, media artist and blogger Gaby dos Santos, now posthumously sheds light on Antonie Netzle, née Fischer, who recreated herself as a Simpl landlady and became on a first-name basis with the rich, famous and powerful of her time, based on stories told by people close to her, presented in quotes and original soundtracks to photo projections and soundtracks from the respective period.

The occasion for the reprise is Toni Netzle's 95th birthday on March 25, 2025.
