The Cologne duo the bottomline has already caused quite a stir in the Cologne music scene and beyond with its unique genre mix of jazz, classical music and trip hop. The duo does not shy away from dealing with life's difficult topics in a serious and humorous way. Music journalists have praised them as "a congenial, musically and technically highly talented duo" (KStA), "highly topical" (NDR Kultur Neo) and "fascinating" (Jazzthing).
