What's probably the only European city that can compete with Cologne when it comes to how many songs have been written about it? Vienna, of course! The elegance, vibrancy and cultural diversity of the Austrian capital have been sung about for years and for good reason - and now the ensemble led by Dalia Schaechter and Bert Oberdorfer will take you on a journey through the alleys and squares of the Danube metropolis, encourage you to take an imaginary stroll through the Prater and thus transplant a piece of Viennese lifestyle to Cologne.

Following their extremely successful guest performances of A Lidele in Yiddish in June 2018 and Wien, Wien, nur Du allein - Ming herrlich Kölle in September 2019, Dalia Schaechter and Bert Oberdorfer are this time focusing entirely on the Viennese song, which they give the appropriate sound space on the stage of the Theater im Bauturm together with pianist Theresia Renelt, violist Gerhard Dierig and zither player Konny Kyrion. Sometimes it will be thoughtful, sometimes rousing - but certainly never without humor!

The performance on May 5 will take place without accordionist Dorrit Bauerecker. She will be back for the next performances on June 30.
