October 10, 2024 marks the 61st anniversary of Edith Piaf's death.

There is always a fresh red rose on her grave in the Père Lachaise cemetery in Paris...

A worthy occasion to put the life of this unique woman on stage.

The audience can look forward to a turbulent journey through this fast-paced and excessive life. A life - which resembled a rollercoaster ride.

But the main role is played by the music.

Astrid Höschel-Bellmann plays the life of this unique woman in short episodes. A life characterized by love and separation, death and despair,

drug and alcohol excesses, laughter and tears, falling down and getting up.... Lovers and friends, composers and great chansoniers, such as

Marlene Dietrich, Charles Dumont, Yves Montand, Charles Aznavour, are brought "alive" .... and of course she sings the most famous chansons of the PIAF.

Chansons that have since achieved world fame.

The wonderful musician Heidi Steger plays on her button accordion from the wide range of these unforgotten and unmistakable songs and transports us

Paris in the 1920s right up to the last great success with the chanson Non, je ne regrette rien.
