How simple and barrier-free our world would be if we all spoke a common language. What doesn't work in spoken language could work in sign language. Is the "language" the same for all deaf people in the world?

In our workshop, we want to take you on a journey through the world of sign language. Together with our experts, we will talk about the origins of sign language, learn about the basic principles of visual communication and try out different signs.

An event organized by the Leipzig Welcome Centre (Department for Migration and Integration) in cooperation with the Commissioner for People with Disabilities.

It takes place as part of the Intercultural Weeks Leipzig (23.08. - 29.09.2024).
