Due to its purity, porcelain offers the possibility of creating the finest color nuances. With color bodies, participants have a wide range of colors at their disposal. In this course, they will learn how to incorporate non-toxic metal oxides in a simple way and how to produce engobes.

Monotype, a technique that allows for playful experimentation, is particularly suitable for designing the surface of plates. The participants use these plates to build an angular vessel that tells their own individual story - in a flat form, as a drawing or collage. With sharp lines, perhaps writing, blurred areas, in translucent, brightly colored or pastel shades.

They also receive valuable tips and tricks for working with porcelain: How do you avoid cracks? How do they prevent porcelain slabs from warping? A little theory helps them to master these challenges.
