"AMANET " - Album release tour 2024

Albanian-born pianist Gert Kapo, who has lived in Cologne since the 90s, released his debut solo album "Amanet" on June 21, 2024 via the Royal Street Records label.
In Albanian, "Amanet" stands for a gift of special value that is entrusted to a person. In the musical sense, it refers to a melody or a song that is passed down from generation to generation, and the nine original compositions on the album therefore focus on the traditional music of Albania and the Balkans, but that's not all, because the classically trained pianist Gert Kapo has loved jazz since his youth and has studied many other musical traditions very intensively.
Many masters of their professions with very different musical backgrounds took part in the studio recordings for "Amanet".
