Geschlossene Gesellschaft von Jean-Paul Sartre

In the organizer's words:

Three people, two women and a man, meet - in a tasteless salon of a shabby hotel, with no windows and only artificial light that cannot be turned off. The door to the salon can only be opened from the outside. An uncompromising power game begins, in which the three characters try to control each other - and fail, as their own pasts increasingly catch up with them. And then there is the mysterious, shady and taciturn host, who allows new sources of conflict to sprout up. A hell in which everyone is both tormentor and tormented, and self-deception and insincerity towards others lose all effect.
The independent theater Junge Bühne Mainz presents Jean-Paul Sartre's philosophical and sarcastic social play as a rousing new production of the play.
