Dr. Reyhan Şahin - known to many as Lady Bitch Ray - is a scientist, author and rapper who deals with social norms and inequality. Through her scientific and artistic work, she thwarts these and challenges dominant narratives. In collaboration with the Association of Binational Families and Partnerships Leipzig, the Grassi Museum für Völkerkunde invites Dr. Şahin to a joint discussion in which the question of (in)visibility in the cultural landscape will be explored. What conditions create (in)visibilities? What role can art and science play in critically addressing the question of representation?
