Gilly Alfeo is an improv artist, jazz pianist and actor. After 22 years as a musician, performer and artistic director at the Springmaus improv theater, he now presents his first solo program: Gilly Con Carne!
With Gilly, we hear what moves the world, sometimes from the perspective of the Italian Ruhrpott soul, sometimes from the brain of the laziest jazz pianist in the world. He makes this crazy world a little easier to bear. We get it sung, cooked, improvised and, above all,
is served to us in a well-tempered, humorous way. Between his actors and the piano as his partner, he will meet you: Your ideas of tomorrow, your taste of life and your heart in the here and now!
The recipe: 250g of fascination, 1 can of rough punchlines and 1 teaspoon of wisdom. Fry the fascinating in a head of hot bollocks. Pour in 375ml of nonsense, stir in music and leave to think for a moment. Add drained punchlines and a pinch of wisdom and leave to work for 5 minutes, half-covered, with a low criticism. Rethink occasionally. A Kölsch tastes good with it.
Disclaimer: The differences between Chili and Gilly are small but subtle. Chili (pronounced "ˈtʃiːli") // Gilly (pronounced: "dʒịlli")
