Lissi is 16 and escaping a life characterized by fear and worry. With blusher, lipstick and a camera, she manages not to go completely crazy in the midst of the chaos.
Her make-up tutorials are popular and her followers are loyal fans. She shows how to conjure up a chic evening make-up look with simple means and elegantly conceal the wounds of shrapnel bombs. In the midst of a civil war, she manages to find beauty and dignity in life. Lissi refuses to stand idly by and let others determine her life and her happiness. With every stroke of her eyelid, she creates a place where only her own rules apply. She uses her voice to make herself heard and accepts that not everyone may like it.
