The audience can expect a diverse line-up of pop, rock, indie, soul, RnB and experimental music.
Good Cause e.V. from Hamburg invites you to a cross-genre cultural festival at Bahnhof Pauli on November 30, 2024.
Hamburg. For many people with disabilities, attending cultural events is almost impossible or involves major hurdles. Good Cause e.V. would therefore like to draw attention to the current shortcomings in the cultural sector on 30.11.2024 and campaign for greater accessibility in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
Good Cause e.V. has been organizing interdisciplinary cultural festivals for the benefit of selected social and cultural institutions since 2013 in order to support them financially and draw attention to socio-political issues. This year's festival focuses on the topics of inclusion and cultural participation of people with disabilities on, in front of and behind the stage.
In order to realize a festival that is as barrier-free as possible, Good Cause e.V. has drawn on the knowledge of the "Initiative Barrierefrei Feiern (IBF)" ( www.barrierefrei-feiern.de). As a result, in 2024, the entire admission revenue will flow into the work of IBF, which is committed to a barrier-free cultural sector. The IBF team consists of experts in their own right who are also active in various areas of the cultural scene and advise and support other event organizers in planning inclusive cultural events. In line with the overriding principle of inclusion, "Nothing about us without us!", people with disabilities were also involved in the design of this year's Good Cause Festival.
This year's line-up once again consists of a variety of bands representing different genres.
