Great Expectations

In this world premiere, Felix Landerer plays with assertions and expectations and promises an evening of dance that looks behind the facades - with big words, big gestures and the question of whether, in turn, greater value should not be attached to the failure of expectations. The new composition by Christof Littmann is juxtaposed with baroque music played by the Bielefeld Philharmonic Orchestra. Musically and visually, there are apparent contrasts between convention and its refraction. Great Expectations marks the start of Landerer's second season as artistic director of the ten-member TANZ Bielefeld ensemble.
