The Greifswald WGG Silvesterlauf is a popular running event that takes place every year on December 31 and offers a sporting end to the year in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald. The run is organized by Wohnungsbau- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft Greifswald (WGG) in cooperation with local sports clubs. It attracts runners of all ages and fitness levels, from ambitious athletes to hobby runners and families who want to end the year actively.
