GWEN DOLYN - Indie Rock about longing, feminism, love and loss from Chemnitz
and RIKA BENDER - Space Synth Pop from Freiburg

The brand new debut album "X-RATED feelings" by musician GWEN DOLYN has finally been released and can be experienced live at the Club der Herzen in April.

The album "X-RATED feelings", which contains the singles "ertrinken", "reiner wein" and "mies präpariert", was produced by Thomas Zehnle and Max Rieger.

It also includes a cover version of the German 80s classic "Dein ist mein ganzes Herz" by Heinz Rudolf Kunze.

GWEN DOLYN comments: "I had played this song live for two years and loved the way it brought my audience together. I wanted to put an 80s rock hit on the album as a kind of homage to the music of that time and to my live shows, which are very important to me."

"X-RATED feelings", is about longing, mental health, feminism and relationships, love, loss and self-empowerment.

GWEN DOLYN's sound is a homage to the raw part of Neue Deutsche Welle and a combination of honest lyrics, grunge, pop sounds and extravagant outfits.

Originally from the capital Berlin, the musician decided to leave the hustle and bustle of the city and now lives in Chemnitz.
She is known as one half of the duo Tränen together with Steffen Israel from Kraftklub.

RIKA BENDER (she/her) is the space tour guide you can trust.
The Freiburg-based musician will pack you into a syntpop time machine and take you on a journey back to the 80s.

RIKA BENDER has been working her magic since 2022, writing songs with catchy melodies and electronic sounds that make you want to shake your dancing leg.

The lyrics deal with dreams and desires, friendship, solidarity and a positivity that is perhaps not always known from this genre.
Her dark, deep voice floats over driving, spherical sounds.

RIKA BENDER wants her music to touch people.
And she does.

She recently played at the Zeltmusikfestival Freiburg and supported GoldyMP3, Shimmer and Tamara Quaddoumi on stage.
The song "Slalom" was released in early summer 2024 via the Düsseldorf label K22.
Gloomy but also dreamy, Sonst is a homage to the best synth bands.
The single "Minus 90 Grad" was released in mid-October and the single "Unbequem" followed at the end of November 2024. Both songs were created for the first time with a guitarist, who now also accompanies RIKA BENDER live.
