With their successful podcast "Haschimitenfürst - Der Bobcast", "Bob Andrews" narrator Andreas Fröhlich and radio play producer Kai Schwind will be touring Germany in 2024. Under the motto "Voices from childhood", the two present background stories, anecdotes and insider knowledge about "Die drei ???" live on stage. It's funny, bizarre, nostalgic, entertaining and goes down extremely well with the audience.

"Die drei ???", the world's most successful radio play production, has lost none of its popularity 44 years after the first radio play episode was published. And it's not just the criminal cases of the three detectives from Rocky Beach that are in demand among fans; the stories behind the stories are now also of interest to a wide audience. This is the only way to explain the success of the podcast "Haschimitenfürst - Der Bobcast", which was launched in February 2022. In this "Die drei ???" podcast from Sony Music Entertainment, "Bob Andrews" narrator Andreas Fröhlich and radio play producer Kai Schwind ("Die Ferienbande") analyze the dramaturgy, script errors and slip-ups of every single "Die drei ???" radio play episode in an entertaining way. "The original manuscripts by radio play producer Heikedine Körting in particular are an invaluable resource for me, bringing back many memories and points of reference," explains Andreas Fröhlich, "and it's not just hardcore fans who are thrilled." Around five million downloads & streams, almost 300,000 views per month: the Bobcast is one of the widest-reaching podcasts in Germany with loyal regular listeners.

Last June, the two appeared live in front of an audience three times with their podcast. The success of their shows in Soest, Gelsenkirchen and Münster was so overwhelming that they are going on tour in Germany with "Haschimitenfürst - Der Bobcast" in 2024 - to mark the 45th anniversary of the "Die drei ???" radio plays. Advance sales for the 10 events between April 16 and June 2, 2024 will start on November 13, 2023. The audience can expect much more than just "chit-chat" at Bobcast LIVE. Under the motto "Voices from childhood", the two podcasters show exclusive videos, unpublished photos, present original sounds, analyze scenes and involve the audience interactively. Each episode thus becomes a great humorous making-of or behind-the-scenes event. The live podcast concept is booming, as fans - similar to book readings - would like to experience their talkers in person. And the response to the live Bobcast was sensational, both on site and afterwards on social media.

"I was surprised that our - admittedly somewhat nerdy - podcast was so well received and has so many fans online. But the response to our live bobcast has topped that. The stage experience with the immediate reaction of the audience was so much fun that we decided to go on a slightly bigger tour with new content next year," says Andreas Fröhlich. "I'm really looking forward to the start of our tour next April and meeting old and new Fragezeichen fans."

"Our Bobcast Live experiment in June 2023 exceeded all our expectations. The events were not only sold out in no time at all. The audience really got into it. There were wonderful encounters with question mark and Bobcast fans and lots of fan mail afterwards," reports Kai Schwind, adding with a wink: "I'm really looking forward to finally being on stage with Andreas again, because we can throw the balls at each other in a completely different way than in the studio."
