HEART AND BREATH
Our late-night concert is also dedicated to the theme of health / mental health, but focuses on inner perception. The central work is Music for Heart and Breath by Canadian multi-instrumentalist Richard Reed Parry, who is best known as a member of the celebrated band Arcade Fire. The musicians make music here with the help of sensors based on their own heartbeat. Other chamber music works by Pauline Oliveros, John Dowland, Bill Evans and Erik Satie round off the program. The concert hall will be transformed into a relaxation lounge and the audience is invited to relax and pause for a moment. Susanne Feld, Alexander Technique teacher and musician, will lead through the concert with small exercises that create an intimate and sensually stimulating moment for all listeners.
