Freddy Klein, Endeffekt, Gumonist & YNGVAR:T (Hecklastig / Munich)

The team from the Hecklastig community has once again set out to make everyone shake their asses. The stylistic specialty of the house is Psy-Tech and Dark Minimal. If you'd like to immerse yourself in it, you can listen to a few episodes of the Hecklastig podcast series. Freddy Klein, Endeffekt, Gumonist and YNGVAR:T will be playing live at the Palais on the middle Wiesn Sunday.

Freddy Klein got hooked on magical electronic sounds in 2006 and more or less taught himself how to DJ with borrowed equipment. In 2011, the colorful mob of the Capsolé artist collective discovered him and took him on board shortly afterwards, which led to a wonderfully glittering journey through the southern German club landscape. After well over 100 solid gigs, Freddy now masters the entire keyboard, from warm-up to peak time, even all night long, with a great feel for harmonious, driving sets.

Colleague Endeffekt started DJing in 2016 and producing in 2017, and has already played at the Bullitt Club, Backstage, Ampere, Harry Klein and Villa Flora. In terms of music, he moves flexibly between tech house and techno, depending on the templates or the dance floor check. His personal favorite, however, is and remains ethereal techno with trancy, driving basslines and mind-expanding, ethereal melodies. Not hard, but ultimately powerful.

The third DJ in the group is Gumonist, the good morning specialist. He has made it his mission to get the crowd swinging and sweating with his sets. It doesn't matter whether this happens with the deep, dark sound of dark minimal, groovy psytech beats or music from his favorite label, Zenon Records. According to him, only one thing is important: "The bass has to really massage your diaphragm!"

At the bottom of the alphabet in terms of name, but far ahead in terms of music selection, is YNGVAR:T, a DJ and part of the Allgäu techno and house scene since 2015. In 2022, he immersed himself in the world of psychedelic techno and has since specialized in the fascinating fusion of techno and psytrance. He has already shown that this goes down well at events such as the "Back to the Roots" festival and the Peace Parade Berlin. But he has also rocked the floors of Berlin clubs. And now he's taking off at the Palais.
