With Sunday shopping (1-6 p.m.)
From December 6-8, the Heeper Advent Market will once again take place on the Amtsplatz in new splendor. You can look forward to a wide range of culinary delights from crêpes and waffles to pizza and classic snacks. A mulled wine hut and a tent invite you to linger and enjoy. A stand with arts and crafts completes the offer. For the first time this year, there will be an almond trolley. For the youngest visitors, there will be a children's carousel for the first time in a long time.
The Christmas market starts on Friday, December 6, with a short welcome, followed by a short service with Pastor von Legat from the Protestant church. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Heepen trombone choir under the direction of Sonja Ramsbrock. On Saturday and Sunday, the children can marvel at "bubble magic" (at 3 pm). The Heepen volunteer fire department will be baking stick bread over an open fire with the children from around 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. - also on Saturday and Sunday. And St. Nicholas is expected on Friday and Saturday ...
You can browse to your heart's content in the district library on Saturday and Sunday from around 2-5 pm. There will also be "beggar's bread" and hot drinks prepared by members of the local history association. Sunday is also all about shopping: the stores in Heep's town center will be open from 1-6 p.m. and are sure to have a bargain or two up their sleeves.
There will also be another Christmas raffle. It starts after Totensonntag and raffle tickets can be filled out in the stores. The winners will be chosen on Sunday evening from around 6 pm.
