Heimatsounds - "Friedensideen"

In the organizer's words:

The intercultural community Heimatsounds presents its thoughts and songs on the topic of peace. We asked ourselves questions such as: "What is peace?", "How can we live together peacefully? How can we secure peace?" We cordially invite you to spend a peaceful musical evening with us.

Heimatsounds is an intercultural music community. We have been meeting on Mondays for eight years to sing, exchange ideas and grow together in the Waschhaus. We sing songs from our countries of origin Syria, Egypt, Iran, Ukraine and Germany. In 2019, we researched the topic of home and found out that there can be both an inner and an outer home and that it can be a place of peace, security and strength. Since last year, we have been researching the topic of peace and present our findings and peace songs in this live musical radio play.

Heimatsounds - Friedensideen 2025 is a project of Soziale Stadt ProPotsdam gGmbH, funded by the state capital of Potsdam and supported by ProPotsdam and Waschhaus Potsdam.
