In the organizer's words:

Once a month there is a fixed helper day at the animal shelter to relieve the animal keepers and create more predictability for the volunteers.

On these days, things such as sorting stock, clearing donations, repairs, cleaning work, green cuttings, etc., which are often neglected in the stressful everyday life of the animal shelter, are to be done.
