In a world in which success, money and social status are weighted more heavily than empathy and emotionality, we try to fathom why emotional coldness and rationality have become part of everyday life.
Have we exchanged our warm, beating hearts and thus our ability to feel for a cold heart of stone?
And all for the promise of success, money and social recognition?

Anna Angelini and Wolfram Föppl have freely explored the fairy tale "The Cold Heart" by Wilhelm Hauff and set out in search of their own hearts.
their own hearts: The search begins in a cold ice room.
Cold hearts from a seductive barter hang from the ceiling: your own heart for a stone. Can people live without feeling, without sensing?
Like a ray of light falling into a dark room, the performers piece together piece by piece why they carry a heart of stone in their chest and ask themselves how it can be transformed back into a warm, living heart.
In the piece, the performers try to feel something again, using various artistic means of expression.
Contemporary dance interludes, musical jazz and danced non-fiction texts are used. The evening will be accompanied by live music from pianist Liviu Petcu, ranging from the musical genre to Celine Dion and Cat Stevens.

Anna Angelini & Wolfram Föppl are guided by fundamental questions that Rousseau also dealt with, immerse themselves in Hilde Domin's tenderly strong world of thought and also incorporate texts they have written themselves.
All in all, it is a diverse and varied 70 minutes that deal with the chaos in the world and describe a transformation from emotional coldness to empathy.
Thus begins a journey from a cold to a warm, throbbing heart.
The journey back to the inside, your own heart path.
