Hochschulen gegen das Vergessen - Holocausts Zeitzeugengespräch

On Tuesday, November 5 at 6:30 pm, we cordially invite all interested students and, of course, all other interested parties to lecture hall B in the lecture hall building of the University of Cologne. Herbert Rubinstein, a contemporary witness of the Shoah, will talk about his personal experiences and the terrible events under the Nazi regime. The lecture will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Please note that registration is required.

This opportunity to hear first-hand stories about the darkest chapter of our history is particularly significant as fewer and fewer Holocaust survivors are able to share their stories. Current developments in particular show that it is our responsibility to actively engage with our own history again and again.

The event is jointly organized by the Jewish Student Union Germany (JSUD) and the AStA of the University of Cologne with the support of the University of Cologne. The event is part of the series "Universities against Forgetting" of the JSUD in cooperation with Zikaron Basalon, Zeugen der Zeitzeugen e.V. and the Zentralwohlfahrtsstelle der Juden in Deutschland e.V.
