HoodBlaq are a mystery that now occupies the whole of Germany. Six young, hungry and above all anonymous artists from Ludwigshafen am Rhein shoot aggressive and realistic lines on dark drill or trap beats that are unparalleled in terms of authenticity and performance. In mid-2021, the rap group was still an internet phenomenon, whose hashtags on Instagram created a fresh new wind and great hype within the German rap scene. "BE.ELA.QU" is now the boys' first studio album, of which the singles "Ketama", "Siedlung", "Barrio" & "AHU" have already been successful and are now regarded as street anthems. Jamal, Saffroui, Alim, Veysel, Moussa & Mali deliver different facets on the longplayer, but remain true to their brute rap style. None other than Raf Camora supports HoodBlaq with a guest appearance on the track "Casablanca", and was also able to get an impression of the Ludwigshafen rap group's incredible live performance on the Gotham City Tour.
