Im Wizemann präsentiert: Swingin’ Tanzcafé – Live

In the organizer's words:

Coffee and cake, a nice chat, good music and a dance or two - what more do you need for a cozy Sunday afternoon? Maybe something else to get the little ones really tired?
There's only one thing for it: the Swingin' Tanzcafé in the Stadtpalais! While the grown-ups make the dance floor unsafe, the little ones can let off steam at the children's construction site in the basement.

And to kick off the new year, there's live music with "Kick The Dog":
Violin, sousaphone, baritone/soprano saxophone, trumpet, guitar, piano and drums: with its special line-up, the band revives the spirit of a great dance era in well-groomed, heated old-school swing from the late 20s, 30s and 40s. Flying feet, smooth spins and whirling turns, Lindy, Charleston, Shag or Balboa - the musicians have searched the endless expanses of the jazz archives, rehearsed all the dance steps of Frankie Manning and George Snowden and honed their sound in numerous sessions.
