Thomas Rückert (piano, rhodes), André Nendza (bass), Marcus Möller (drums),
Inga Lühning (Vocals)
Inga Lühning has become known to a wider audience through her participation in the Frankfurt Jazz Collective [re:jazz], she has also released several albums with self-written songs under her own name - and when she sings, she always does so in a sensitive way and always with the greatest possible dedication to interpretation.
After releasing two albums as a duo with André Nendza, she finally decided to expand the line-up and pick up the thread as a songwriter to write her own music and lyrics and record them with her new trio at the Hansahausstudio in Bonn. After just a few rehearsals, the musical comrades-in-arms succeeded in masterfully translating the various moods in Lühning's pieces, rounding off the songs wonderfully. The content of the songs is always about emotional and personal themes, regardless of whether she is addressing her mother, who was once a daughter herself, as a daughter in the lyrics, whether she is describing the tender beginnings of a love affair or whether she is singing a lullaby to her children.
