8 p.m.: Christopher Kunz POL

Tenor and soprano saxophonist Christopher Kunz combines his existing duos with drummer Florian Fischer and pianist Simon Lucaciu to form a trio. Free improvisation and compositional elements enter into a complementary relationship and embody the overcoming of irreconcilable opposites.

9 p.m.: Heiner Reinhardt Project

Heiner Reinhardt is a long-standing member of LeipJAZZig and has his musical roots in the GDR free jazz scene. His roots have grown so that Heiner can now draw on a huge pool of musical forms of expression.
